Discover Dunstable Friary

The Little Mermaid

A brand new adaptation of the classic Hans Christian Andersen fairytale, The Little Mermaid features all the traditional elements you would expect to find in the St Albans Pantomime extravaganza, but this year they are giving us a little more. By using state of the art 3D projection and animation some of the characters will literally come to life in front of your very eyes (with the help of 3D glasses – of course!). Join the Philharmonia Orchestra for its annual Family Music Day as they embark on a tour of Europe; together we’ll take in Spain with Chabrier; hopping up to Scandinavia with Grieg; passing through Italy with Respighi and Rossini; and coming back to the UK via Austria and Ireland! Kevin Hathway presents the hour-long interactive concert, which starts at 12.00pm, for children aged 5 to 11.
