RSPB Local Group meetings - 3rd Thursday of each month at 7.30pm held at the A.R.A. Social Club, Manton Lane, Bedford. All Very Welcome. Mark Harrison’s Bedford Proms featuring Faryl Smith and the London Gala Orchestra. The famous evening event, which is the only one of its kind in the region, will be brought to a dramatic crescendo by a spectacular firework display. As always, the famous proms light-show looks set to be more breathtaking then ever this year. Picnics this year are once again going to be supplied by Aubrey Allen which are prepared by their chefs using fresh produce; free range meat and the Best of British. So grab your ticket now, gather your friends and get your picnic hampers ready for what will prove to be the highlight of the summer. Classic Car & Bike Show with Craft Fayre on Sunday 8 August 2010 at The Rufus Centre, Steppingley Road, Flitwick, Beds, MK45 1AH from 12 noon – 4pm. Entry is £3 for adults and children go FREE. After last summer’s great success, this year’s show is going to be bigger and better with even more cars and the introduction of classic bikes, so loads more to see! Once again we will have live jazz music, free children’s entertainment and a big craft fayre selling a variety of wares. Refreshments available inside and out.
